Jiufen

It was once mistakenly believed that Jiufen was the inspiration for Spirited Away due to a slip of the tongue by Hayao Miyazaki. Amei Teahouse was said to be the model for the bathhouse in the movie, but in reality, Hayao Miyazaki never visited Jiufen. Although it was a beautiful misunderstanding, it seems to have made Jiufen even more popular.
